craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care for your MD-1600 so

you can enjoy it for years.

Keep the MD-1600 dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Liquids

might contain minerals that can corrode the electronic circuits.

Use and store the MD-1600 only in normal temperature environments.

Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electronic devices, dam-

age batteries, and distort or melt plastic parts.

Keep the MD-1600 away from dust and dirt, which can cause prema-

ture wear of parts.

Handle the MD-1600 gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage cir-

cuit boards and cases and can cause the MD-1600 to work improperly.

Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.

Batteries can leak chemicals that damage your MD-1600’s electronic

parts.

Wipe the MD-1600 with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking

new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong deter-

gents to clean the MD-1600.

Modifying or tampering with the MD-1600’s internal components can cause a mal-

function and might invalidate its warranty. If your MD-1600 is not performing as it

should, take it to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
